Authorization

I've purchased a plug-in and received a confirmation email, but I'm stuck in Demo mode. Now what?
When the plug-in's user interface is open ( click on the pencil icon in GarageBand first), click the Help tab. Type the email address that you used for the PayPal purchase into the 'Email' field <<- Hint: This is case sensitive. At this point, you need to be on-line and have access to the Internet. Click the 'Authorize' button. This process will take a few seconds… You will see a message below this button indicating the result of the authorization attempt. For more info, read this helpful document.Top

Check and make sure your Internet connection is functioning. Another common reason for a failed authorization is that you do not have any installs remaining. If neither of these apply to you, there are a few things you can try. First, close your host audio program. Second, locate and trash the preferences file for your plug-in. You can find it in your home, 'Library' such as; "/Users/-you-/Library/Preferences/com.MarkCErickson.audiounit.-nameofplugin-.plist". Third, relaunch your host audio program and insert the plug-in on any track - try again. If this fails, from the Help tab, click 'Authorize' again ( this would be the second time since the window was opened ). Follow the on-screen instructions or those found in the helpful document. You must still have internet access to complete the authorization manually.Top
